About Me

My name is Aimee Cronan, and I am 27 years old. I grew up in the city but have been living in the country for the past year and a half.

I graduated from the University of Regina in 2011 with my Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education with a focus in the Pre-K to Grade 3 teaching area. While in University I was the co-president of the University chapter of the Early Childhood Education Council. I have been subbing with the Regina Public School Board since I graduated in 2011.

During my Internship in fall of 2010 I was actively involved with the Elementary Choir, SAC and helping with the Christmas Musical. Given the opportunity these are things I would again love to assist with.

I love finding ways to incorporate visual art into my lessons, and have been collecting ideas for a long time.

I enjoy reading, playing piano, guitar and singing. I love finding new ways to use technology and l am always willing to learn something new that could help in the classroom! I have tried many different technology resources, such as Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, Diigo (online way to collect links and online resources), and Delicious. I have also tried a few different sites for blogging such as Blogger, WordPress, and ClassBlogMeister. I believe in preparing students for their future by giving them the skills necessary to succeed in a technology based society. In order to do that I need to have tried it and prepared myself, this page will always be changing and growing, and hopefully will hold some resources that I find interesting and useful.
