    Good point. Now all you need to do is convince all those students whose first comments are inevitably, “How much is does this count for marks?” and “Does this count? (whine)”

    Agreed. When we grade things we put pressure on students to preform well and get good grades. Who wants to be under pressure? Not to mention when things are for less or no marks students are less afraid to be wrong therefore there are often more original and out of the box answers.
